Around The School Part I

Sin Chang is a small town. We have enough here to keep me occupied during the week and we are close enough to other cities/towns that we can venture there during out free time. So in between my classes, the studying and exchanges I find time to just hang out and chill with my friends.

Since Sin Chang is small we only have 1 official coffee shop, Lemon Tree. There are coffee shops/stands around campus where students can get coffee. However, an actual coffee shop with a concept and the coffee shop ambiance we only have the one. I really enjoy this place, the green tea latte is great and it's such a nice place to chill and just chat with the girls. Here we are Sarah, Kristen, Maggi and I enjoying our girls night out!

Some international students discovered there is a Home Plus near us! Earlier I talked about E-Mart which is a Walmart-esque type of store where you can buy almost everything. Home Plus is the same but on a larger scale, they also have a great food court. Home Plus is near Ssang Yong station and takes about a 5 minute walk once you exit the station. I was on the look out for some batteries, hair conditioner and a toothbrush holder for my washroom.

Going to Home Plus is always an adventure and there is so much to look at you can probably spend the entire day there. We spent a good 4 hours there I believe.

On Wednesday March 23 we celebrated Sarah's birthday! We went to eat Kal Guk Su (칼국수) they are hand made noodles cut by a knife. The place we went to was really good! 6 000 won per person and the noodles are unlimited!!!
