Thanks for coming to the airport with me guys!!! Even though I still couldn't believe I was leaving I had fun playing Scrabble Slam & Scrabble Apple! Way to get my brain moving first thing in the morning after 3 hours of sleep.
I am waiting at my gate waiting to board the airplane. For some reason it really has not hit me yet that I am going to Korea!!! I still feel like I am in a big dream.
Updates to come from Tokyo Narita Airport where I will have a layover!
[UPDATE]
9 hours later, I am now sitting in Narita airport waiting at my gate. There is another 3 hours before my flight to Incheon. The Narita airport's building itself is not amazing but man do the Japanese have impeccable service. My flight was pleasant, got a bit fidgety near the end of the flight and willed the time to go by faster. However, once I lulled myself back to sleep again things were all good. Next thing I knew we were descending. Had a great sandwich on the flight here! I know a sandwich, but it was so good I'm pretty sure it was the sauce. They don't have free internet here so I paid for this! LOL my first frivolous purchase overseas. I wouldn't know what to do for 3 hours if I didn't have internet...I don't even want to imagine. I don't have a book or anything that's why my computer is my only source of entertainment.
I passed the one in English and didn't realize the languages were going to change as we went further along.
Kit Kat is lucky to the Japanese I had no idea. I just knew they had a million different flavours. These are just two of the possible who know how many flavours! My flight to Incheon was surprising very short, its an estimated 2 hours and 50 minutes. However, even on this short flight a meal is provided!!! It was such a creative meal too and came in this super cute "bamboo" bento box.
I finally made it to Incheon, yay celebration!!! It has been a very long day and about to get longer when the Soon Chun Hyang student picking me up told me we had to make a stop over in Ansan before making my way to Asan.
This is the exit gate I came out of, C. We were to meet at the McDonalds inbetween gate C & D. They sent me an email ahead of time and gave me the name of the person in charge of picking me up and their phone number. They also attached a map so we knew where to go. The information preparing you for the trip is all super informative. I finally arrived to my dorm at 1am! I was super tired and passed out pretty much right away. What a LONG first day.
